Kirsty Terry

Clinical Psychologist
BBSc, PostgradDipPsych, MPsych (Clinical) MAPS FCCLP

Kirsty is a Clinical Psychologist with over 18 years of experience across public health, education, and private mental health settings. She holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, and a Master of Clinical Psychology, and is currently completing a Doctor of Public Health at La Trobe University in Melbourne.

Kirsty’s approach is warm, evidence-based, and deeply person-centred. She draws on a broad toolkit including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and neuropsychotherapy. She is also trained in parenting and perinatal programs such as Circle of Security and Tuning in to Kids/Teens.

Kirsty has worked with individuals and families across the lifespan in settings including hospitals, community mental health, schools, and private practice. She is passionate about holistic, affirming care and brings particular skill in working with neurodivergent individuals, trauma recovery, and perinatal mental health.

She is experienced in both face-to-face and telehealth delivery and aims to make therapy accessible, inclusive, and collaborative.
